Artificial intelligence methods are currently
gaining momentum for the use and management of
pipeline data. However, to take advantage of this
trend requires proven strategies for the reliable
and standardized collection of such data. This
training explores the technologies and standard
techniques for gathering information about
wastewater pipelines, the integration of data into
information management systems, and its use for
smart decision-making strategies for the maintenance
and rehabilitation with trenchless technologies.
This course is designed for engineers (PE),
contractors, and professionals involved in the
design, operation and management of wastewater and
stormwater pipelines.

Hoy en día están en auge las metodologías de
inteligencia artificial para la gestión de datos de
redes de tuberías; sin embargo, para poder tomar
partida en ese ámbito se requiere de estrategias
comprobadas para el recaudo confiable y
estandarizado de dichos datos. Esta capacitación
explora las tecnologías y técnicas estándar
establecidas para la recolección de información en
redes de alcantarillado, su integración con los
sistemas de gestión de la información y su uso para
la toma de decisiones en la gestión de mantenimiento
y rehabilitación de redes con tecnologías sin zanja.
Este curso está dirigido a ingenieros,
contratistas y profesionales que trabajan en el
diseño, operación y mantenimiento de redes de
tuberías en el sector del alcantarillado pluvial y
sanitario. |

Diego Calderon,

Diego is a certified professional engineer with over
17 years of experience, 15 of them dedicated to
trenchless technology. He has been a university
professor, academic researcher, municipal engineer,
project manager, project engineer and field
engineer. His knowledge derives from experience in
the U.S. and abroad. He is currently a Ph.D.
Candidate at the University of Texas at Arlington,
as well as a municipal engineer. Diego serves as a
board member of the Latin American Society for
Trenchless Technology (LAMSTT) and is a certified
PACP/MACP/LACP NASSCO Trainer. |

Ingeniera Civil – UIS, Bucaramanga, Colombia – con
Magister en Ingeniería de la Universidad de
Maryland, College Park, EE.UU. Gerenció proyectos en
el condado de Baltimore, USA y ha liderado proyectos
de rehabilitación de redes con tecnologías sin zanja
por más de 100 millones de dólares. Como Instructora
de la Asociación Norteamericana de Compañías de
Servicios de Alcantarillado (NASSCO) ha capacitado a
profesionales para varios países Latinoamericanos
entre los cuales están Colombia, Panamá, Uruguay,
Brasil, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, Perú, Argentina y
Costa Rica. También es instructora del Instituto
Internacional de Gestión de Activos Subterráneos (BAMI-I)
para el curso de Certificación en Gestión de Activos
en los Estados Unidos. Fue becaria por el gobierno
de China en el “Belt and Road” para el cambio
climático. Actualmente es consultora independiente
en tecnología sin zanja y docente en los programas
de posgrados de Ingeniería Civil de la Pontificia
Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá. |
